Bulk Agave Syrup

Organic Agave Syrup for Natural Sweetening in Food and Beverage Production

5.0

Bulk agave syrup, also known as agave nectar, is a naturally derived liquid sweetener made from the blue agave plant. With a low glycemic index and mild, neutral flavor, agave syrup is an ideal sugar substitute for food and beverage manufacturers looking for a clean-label, plant-based ingredient.

Agave syrup blends easily into hot or cold applications, offering higher sweetness than sugar with less volume. It’s a preferred sweetener for natural drinks, bars, sauces, dressings, and baked goods. Our wholesale agave syrup is available in both conventional and USDA-certified organic formats, ideal for everything from large-scale food processing to specialty health products.

Light Agave Syrup

Filtered to remove solids, light agave has a mild taste and pale color, making it ideal for beverages, flavored waters, and products where color and taste neutrality are key.

Less filtered, amber syrup retains more of its natural agave flavor and color. It works well in baked goods, sauces, marinades, and applications where a richer profile is desired.

USDA-certified organic and non-GMO verified, our organic agave syrup supports clean-label and natural product formulations. Available in both light and amber grades.

Need a specific Brix, viscosity, or blend? We offer customized agave syrup formulations for specialty food and beverage production, R&D applications, or co-manufacturing.

Agave Syrup FAQ

Is agave syrup the same as agave nectar?

Yes. Both terms refer to the same sweetener, concentrated syrup from the agave plant. “Agave nectar” is often used for retail, while “agave syrup” is more common in food manufacturing.

Light agave syrup is more refined, with a milder flavor and lighter color. Amber syrup retains more of the plant’s natural compounds and offers a richer, more caramel-like profile.

Agave syrup is about 30–40% sweeter than sugar and has a lower glycemic index. This means you can use less, and it may be more suitable for low-GI or health-conscious formulations.
